Senior Java Developer/Solution Designer

Location: Remote

Your tasks:

In this position, you will be responsible for developing an IoT Agent application that will be the bridge between the customer’s device control software and the IoT platform. The agent will be responsible for automatically detecting device activity,
after which it will need to convert device data into a stream of measurements and alerts according to platform standards. The agent will also handle full device lifecycle management and connectivity monitoring. The agent is expected to provide a console interface and the ability to remotely control via API calls in the IoT platform standard. The first phase of the project involves human operation of the device and agent, while a fully autonomous project is the long-term goal.

Skills:

• Experience working with Java (min.11);
• Knowledge of Spring Boot;
• Knowledge of REST;
• Knowledge of Docker containerization tools;
• Knowledge of relational SQL database;
• Knowledge of Maven;
• Knowledge of microserwises;
• Knowledge of Git distributed control system.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Kubernetes containerization platform;
• Familiarity with non-relational databases (MongoDB);
• Familiarity with Azure and Azure Blob storage.
